The Long Now Foundation is a San Francisco non-profit founded in 1996 by futurist Stewart Brand, musician Brian Eno, and inventor Danny Hillis to foster long-term thinking and responsibility through diverse projects aiming to inspire, educate, and challenge our concepts of the future. Best known for the 10,000 Year Clock, Long Now also produces monthly seminars about long-term thinking and founded the projects Revive & Restore, descripton, The Rosetta Project, description, and The Interval,
